Biography of Jonathan P. Lindman, MD, FACS

Dr. Lindman is a part of the hard-working team of physicians and other healthcare professionals at ENTcare. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia with a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. He received his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in 2000 and finished his otolaryngology specialty training at the University of Alabama-Birmingham in June, 2005. He is board certified in otolaryngology. Dr. Lindman was recently (fall, 2007) elected as fellow into the prestigious American College of Surgeons. You may read the fellowship pledge here

Dr. Lindman provides comprehensive and compassionate ear, nose and throat care to each of his patients. “One of the things that first attracted me to otolaryngology was the ability to practice medicine and surgery for people of all ages.” He performs a wide variety of surgical procedures to meet the needs of his patients. His interests include sinus and nasal problems, thyroid surgery, snoring and sleep apnea, voice disorders, pediatric problems and head and neck skin lesion removal and reconstruction. He has presented clinical and basic science research at a number of regional and national meetings. Dr. Lindman enjoys the challenge of staying educated and informed of the latest treatment innovations available by regularly attending professional meetings and reviewing the medical literature.

Dr. Lindman is married and has two children. His hobbies include nutrition, fitness, hand percussion, trumpet and dancing. He and his wife are actively involved with the music department of First Presbyterian Church of Dothan.
